GMN ball bearing freewheel clutch units are suitable for low and medium torque requirements. The FK, FKN and FKNN series have an integrated ball bearing and are also optionally available pre-lubricated with grease and seal rings (2RS models). GMN ball bearing freewheel clutch units without seals are suitable for either oil or grease lubrication. All GMN ball bearing freewheel clutch units can be used as indexing clutches, backstops or as overrunning clutches.
Freewheel clutches from the FK (2RS) series are ball bearing freewheel clutch units with keyway connection. They are optionally available sealed on both sides (FK 2RS) or without a seal (FK).

Hardening and grinding of the mating parts are not necessary. Thoroughly clean (grease free) the mating parts in the vicinity of the freewheel clutches as well as the freewheel clutch’s rings before making the press fit.
The freewheel clutch includes a ball bearing. Additional external bearing support is not necessary.
Press fit pressure must not be applied to the balls.
The arrow on the inner ring designates the inner ring’s clamping direction.
The employed RS seals reliably seal out grease and dust but are not suitable protection against the presence of liquids. Series FK 6203-RS, FKN 6203-RS and FKNN 6203-RS have a single RS seal disc.
