Vacuum technology is a significant basis for research, development and the manufacture of innovative products, from semiconductors to the solar industry. The final pressure, suction performance or media resistance play a role in the application depending upon the vacuum pump design. Bearings are the heart of the vacuum pump – and only robust bearings ensure high endurance at high RPMs as well as in rough environmental conditions.

GMN develops customer-specific high-precision ball bearings with special dimensions, designs and cages for turbo molecular pumps.

  • Product optimized bearing design
  • Use of covered bearings to protect against contamination and to increase life
  • Ceramic balls for higher speeds, minimal friction and optimized bearing dynamics
  • Integrated tribological concept (lubricant, preservation, surface quality, materials)
  • For grease lubrication use the GMN TXM cage for low-vibration and quiet operation
